Do you enjoy driving buses and making a difference?

We are looking for someone who not only wants to drive a vehicle but also wants to be an important part of people's everyday lives. As a bus driver with us, you meet new people every day, contribute to safety in traffic, and ensure that journeys run smoothly – safely, securely, and on time. You are social and confident behind the wheel and like the idea of a job where no day is the same as the other.

The position is a need-based employment, and we are particularly looking for someone who can work at various times of the day – early mornings, evenings, and weekends – as we need staffing throughout the traffic day. You will be based at our depot in Uddevalla, where you will become part of a dedicated team with wonderful colleagues and good cohesion. You will have a team leader close at hand for support.

Job Responsibilities

Daily tasks include:

  • Driving a bus in varying traffic and environments
  • Human interactions – both large and small
  • Responsibility for safe and secure driving
  • Helping hands for colleagues and passengers
  • Making the journey so good that people want to take the bus again

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys meeting people and sees each interaction as an opportunity to brighten someone's day
  • Has a valid D driver's license and approved YKB
  • Speaks and understands Swedish (so you can inform, instruct, and chat)
  • Is responsible, meticulous, and drives safely, as if you had your own family on the bus
  • Can keep time – or at least tries your best with a focus on safety
  • Is flexible – the job has varying working hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends. We plan in good time, but you need to be comfortable with days looking different

Experience in bus driving is an advantage but not a requirement.

What you will receive from us

  • You will receive a thorough introduction to feel confident with our routes and behind the wheel with us
  • A meaningful job where you actually make a difference every day
  • Several benefits such as wellness grants, favorable insurance, and discounts on products
  • A flexible job with varying driving assignments
  • Wonderful colleagues and a present team leader who together create a positive work environment where everyone helps each other in daily tasks

Good to know

As part of our safety work, employment relationships are preceded by a drug test conducted by an appointed occupational health service. In connection with recruitment and ongoing employment, random alcohol and drug tests may also occur. Upon employment, we will ask you to present an extract from the police criminal record.

We welcome your application as soon as possible via the recruitment system! If you proceed in the process, interviews will take place after the application deadline.
